What We Do

The North County LGBTQ Resource Center is proud to serve our local trans* and intersex community through the Gender Advocacy Project (GAP).

Conceptualized in October 2014 as a committee that oversees various programs including support groups, social groups, educating individuals both within and outside the community, collaborating with local health providers to provide trans*-inclusive health care, and putting on flagship events such as Trans* Day of Visibility, Trans* Day of Remembrance, and Intersex Awareness Day.  If you would like one of our committee members to speak with your business, organization or with you personally feel free to contact us at 760-994-1690 ext. 7001 or emails us at gap@ncresoucecenter.org.
